We start with the devices, rooms, access needs, existing internet connection, and budget. Equipment selection accounts for gateway capacity, PoE requirements, available cable routes, and where the UniFi Network application will run.

Physical installation, network planning, configuration, and continued management are defined separately in the proposal. Equipment ownership stays clear; no monitoring subscription or support availability is implied. Other compatible systems can be evaluated when they better fit the project.
FROM ASSESSMENT TO HANDOFF
How the work is planned.
Equipment, permissions, access and scheduling are discussed before the work begins. Any extra work is identified before it becomes part of the assignment.

Assess the site, connected devices, existing hardware, and the intended network use.

Agree the equipment and configuration scope, then install cabling, gateways, switches, and access points.

Check the agreed connections, label infrastructure, document the setup, and hand over account access.
Are you certified or authorized by Ubiquiti?
Optimal AI Systems is an independent installation service provider and is not currently certified, authorized, or endorsed by Ubiquiti.
Do you only install UniFi equipment?
No. UniFi is our preferred ecosystem where it fits the project. We also assess other compatible networking and surveillance equipment within the agreed scope.
Do I need to replace my whole network?
Not necessarily. We review existing equipment, cable runs, internet service, and your goals before recommending reuse or replacement.
Does the gateway also run my cameras?
Only supported models and applications can do that. UniFi Network manages networking; UniFi Protect handles cameras and recording on a supported console or recorder. Hardware and storage are selected for the actual requirements.
Is ongoing support included?
Installation and handoff are project-based. Any continued management, updates, visits, or support must be covered by a separate agreed scope.
What should I include in my inquiry?
Share your city or ZIP, property type, equipment and the problem or intended outcome. For a contractor assignment, include the requested tasks and timing. Do not send passwords, alarm codes, network credentials or sensitive security details through the public form.
Do you repair computers, phones or tablets?
No. Our focus is infrastructure, installations, networking, cameras and business systems. We do not offer consumer device repair, screen/battery replacement, gaming-PC builds, home electronics or home-theater repair, generic printer repair or an unlimited residential help desk.
