THE WORK, CLEARLY DEFINED

A practical installation scope.

Rack location, wall structure or floor space, ventilation, access, equipment load, and available power all shape the installation. We distinguish reuse from new equipment in the proposal.

Available work

  • Wall-mounted and floor-standing racks
  • Switch, patch panel, and equipment mounting
  • Cable management, labeling, and documentation
  • Server, storage, and UPS integration

WHAT YOU RECEIVE

A handoff you can use.

Agreed work scope, connection or configuration notes, checks performed, and any remaining observations. Photos are captured and shared only where permitted.

See our documentation approach →

What shapes the scope

A UPS is part of an agreed power plan, not a promise of uninterrupted operation. Electrical alterations and specialist building work are separately identified when needed. Lab and website demonstrations illustrate technical approaches; they are not presented as customer deployments. Proxmox and selected Linux environments require a defined project scope.

FROM ASSESSMENT TO HANDOFF

How the work is planned.

Equipment, permissions, access and scheduling are discussed before the work begins. Any extra work is identified before it becomes part of the assignment.

  1. Assess

Inventory equipment and connections, then assess space, mounting, ventilation, power, and access.

  2. Complete

Mount the agreed rack, shelves, patch panels, switches, gateways, and cable managers.

  3. Document

Label connections, check agreed functions, and provide the information needed to maintain the setup.
